How often does Hanly’s Hounds provide service?
We will come to your yard as often or as little as you’d like.
What days of the week do you provide service?
Pooper Scooper service is Monday-Friday.
Do I have to be at my property when you provide service?
No, you do not have to be there. Of course, if you prefer to be there when we stop by, we have no problem either way.
Can my dog(s) be left in the yard when you provide service?
Sure, as long as your dog(s) like us. If your dog(s) do not like us being in their space, then probably not. But we can determine that on your free consultation.
What do you do with all of the dog waste?
We put the waste in a garbage bag and place it in your trash can.
Can you take the dog waste with you?
Absolutely, however there is an extra fee of $3.50 per week.
Can I hire Hanly’s Hounds for a 1 time cleaning only?

We will bill you for services at the end of the month. Payments are due upon receipt of the bill by check or credit card.
There is a $10.00 late fee for accounts not paid by the 20th of the month following service.
There is a $25.00 return check fee for the first check, $50.00 for the second check, after that, we will need to charge your credit card for continued monthly service.
What if I forget to unlock my gate or my dog does not let you in?
We will forgive and forget the first time; after that, we will have to charge our normal rate. The reasons why we think this is fair: (1) we have previously forgave and forgot once (2) we have spent time and gas to drive to your house (3) we will have twice as much poop to scoop on the next visit.
What if the weather does not cooperate with a service visit from Hanly’s Hounds?
We will work through most weather conditions. If the rain is too heavy or it has snowed too much, we will call and reschedule your visit to when the weatherman says the snow will melt or the rain stops later in the week.
Back to topWhat if the weather does not get better that week?
If there is extreme weather or reasons beyond our control that will prevent us from completing that week’s work, we will continue your service on your next regularly scheduled visit. We will charge you a reduced rate of $5.00 for one dog and an additional $2.00 for each additional dog you own (unless you complete that week’s cleaning yourself) due to our work load being doubled when we return. Please call our office to advise if you intend to clean up your yard. If snow stays on the ground for more than a week, but there is no new snow to cover it, we will do regular clean ups to prevent excessive accumulation.
Are you licensed, insured and bonded?
Yes, yes and yes. Our insurance is specifically designed for the pet care service industry.
Do you provide service on Major Holidays?
Not for pooper scooping. But we will work on holidays if we are pet sitting for you.
Is there a service contract needed?
No. Just let us know when you would like us to start or stop your service.
Can I skip one of my scheduled visits?
Sure~ just call us and let us know and you will not be charged for that missed visit as long as your dogs are not there for the week or you clean up that week's accumulation. If there is no accumulation then you will not be charged for that week.
